Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a comprehensive secondary school in Maidstone, starting as soon as possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced English Teacher to join a supportive school and teach across GCSE and A-Level, helping students to develop their confidence, knowledge and academic skills.

The Role

• Teaching English across GCSE and A-Level
• Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons
• Supporting students of a range of abilities
• Preparing students for examinations and assessments
• Monitoring progress and providing effective feedback
• Working collaboratively with colleagues within the English department
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching English at secondary level
• Have experience teaching GCSE English, with A-Level experience desirable
• Have strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Be confident managing a classroom and maintaining high expectations
• Be passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential
• Be available to start ASAP
