English Teacher – Secondary Schools (Liverpool)

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term & Day-to-Day Opportunities

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking experienced English Teachers to work in a range of secondary schools across Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate and committed educators looking to make a positive impact on students’ learning and progress.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience)
  • Plan, prepare and assess engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and Teaching Personnel consultants

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Proven experience teaching English in secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt to different school environments
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
