Teacher of English (Secondary)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time, Monday–Friday
We are seeking a fully qualified and passionate Teacher of English to join a thriving secondary school community from September. This is a full-time position, suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their practice in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire a love of literature, language, and creative expression
- Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialism in English
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching
- Commitment to high standards, inclusion, and student achievement
- A collaborative and reflective approach to teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
