Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with secondary schools across Cannock and Rugeley who are looking for enthusiastic English Teachers to support their students from September 2026.
We are recruiting for a range of opportunities, including full-time long-term positions and flexible day-to-day work, making this suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs, or those looking for greater flexibility.

The Role
- Teach English across KS3 and KS4.
- Deliver engaging lessons that inspire students.
- Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills.
- Plan and adapt lessons to meet different abilities.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work alongside colleagues to support department development.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching English within a secondary school setting.
- Has strong subject knowledge.
- Can motivate and engage students.
- Has effective classroom management skills.
- Is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.
- Is adaptable and committed to high-quality teaching.

To Be Eligible For This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
