English Teacher – Bridport – Starting April

The Role

The school is seeking an English Teacher who can deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across both language and literature. You’ll help students build strong analytical, creative, and communication abilities while ensuring they feel prepared and confident as they work towards their GCSEs. Your teaching will play a meaningful role in shaping their educational journey.


What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified English Teacher with a solid understanding of the GCSE curriculum
  • Experience teaching English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4
  • Someone who promotes a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students
  • Confident behaviour management
  • A willingness to work collaboratively and continue developing professionally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
