English Teacher – Full Time | September Start

Location: Birmingham
Position: Full-Time English Teacher
Start Date: 3rd September 2025

Are you a passionate and experienced English teacher looking for your next rewarding opportunity? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming secondary school to recruit a talented English Teacher to join their thriving English department.

About the Role:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday

  • Responsible for planning, prepping and delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4

  • Opportunity to contribute to a committed and forward-thinking English department

  • Supportive leadership team and excellent staff morale

  • Immediate support available from experienced colleagues and pastoral teams

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be a fully qualified English teacher (QTS)

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language

  • Have experience working in secondary schools, with KS3 and KS4 pupils

  • Be confident managing challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner

  • Show commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
