On behalf of the English department in my secondary school in Leeds, I are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated English teacher who is inspirational in the classroom and will make a substantial contribution to the further development of this good school. We are hopign to find a suitable teacher for a  January 2020 start.

The successful candidate will have the qualities to motivate and inspire students and will be required to teach English at both KS3 and KS4 level. We are accepting applicants of all experience levels. Being an ECT does not count you out of this role!

You will have strong classroom management skills, excellent subject knowledge and achieve the best possible outcomes for the students. The ability to monitor and track the progress of year groups through data is essential, as is the ability to work effectively as part of the English team.

The secondary school is an 11-16 school in Leeds LS16. Only a short commute from the city centre and local train and bus stations. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the growing English team that is making substantial progress under current leadership. In turn, we are looking for a candidate committed to playing a part in transforming the lives of our young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
