Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for recent English Graduates to provide to pupils who are struggling academically by becoming a Teaching Assistant for one of our client schools in Manchester.

This position will be full-time, and it is due to start in September at the beginning of the academic year.

The highlights of this position will include:

  • You will have a 6.5 hour working day.
  • You will earn a competitive salary between £1500 and £1800 per month.
  • You will have no additional planning or marking responsibilities.
  • This is an opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience which will benefit you through your career development.  
  • Through Teaching Personnel, there will be more opportunities to progress onto permanent positions based on good feedback.

As a Teaching Assistant, you should ensure that the pupils who are struggling the most academically are remaining focussed within lessons and are gaining a better understanding of the subject. It is essential that you can use your own understanding of the subject to support pupils grasp the subject concepts. If you have any concerns regarding the pupils, whether this is their performance in class or a safeguarding concern, it is essential that you report this to the Teacher.

In order to be cleared to work within this school, it is essential that you are able to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check. Once this check has been completed you will be required to place this onto the update service to ensure that it remains active. You will also be required to complete a safeguarding course.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
