This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant social sciences department that prides itself on academic excellence and fostering critical thinking, You will be teaching engaged, motivated students across Key stages 3.4 and 5.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Economics lessons that simplify complex macroeconomic concepts.
- Plan and prepare structured lessons tailored to varying learning abilities.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, maintaining high expectations for achievement.
- Contribute to the wider school community and department resources.
What are we looking for?
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teachers (ECT's) with an economics specialism.
- A strong degree in Economics, Finance or a closely related social science discipline.
- Proven experience teaching economics up to A-level within a UK secondary school environment.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire a love for the subject.
- A valid Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
