Nursery Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner – Nurseries & Primary Schools | September Start
Location: Various locations available
Hours: Flexible shifts available between 8:00am and 6:00pm, including full-day, morning, afternoon, and part-time opportunities, depending on the setting.

Contract: Flexible Supply / Temporary (with potential for long-term and permanent opportunities)

We're recruiting Nursery Teaching Assistants and Early Years Practitioners to work across a variety of nurseries, preschools, and primary schools from September.
With opportunities in both Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) classrooms within primary schools and private and maintained nursery settings, we have flexible roles to suit your availability. Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, term-time work, or a long-term position, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
- Support children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities.
- Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, nursery practitioners, support staff, children, and parents.
- Support daily routines, classroom activities, and personal care where required.
- Promote children's social, emotional, and physical development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Encourage positive behaviour and help children build confidence and independence.
Requirements
- Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification is desirable.
- Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, childcare setting, or primary school.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, positive, and proactive approach to supporting young children.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
