Early Years Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently representing a pre-school in the South Sheffield area that is in search for an Early Years (Nursery) Teaching Assistant who is able to commit to a full-time role commencing in September. 

Pay: £70-80 per day

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of NVQ L2 or equivalent
  • Recent experience in a Nursery/ Early years setting
  • Understanding of child development and a commitment to securing the progress of all learners
  • Knowledge of play-led learning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Supervising children as they play
  • Designing and organising engaging activities for children
  • Monitoring and assessing progression
  • Maintaining an inclusive classroom environment
  • Working in alignment with the schools safeguarding and disciplinary procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
