EYFS Qualified Teaching Assistant – Gateshead
Start Date: April 2026
Contract: Full-time, Long-term
Pay: £90 – £110 per day (paid weekly)

Are you a passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding full-time role in Gateshead? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a welcoming primary school starting April 2026.
- As part of the Early Years team, you will:
- Support children’s learning and development through engaging, play-based activities
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver high-quality EYFS provision
- Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive
- Assist with observations, assessments, and record keeping
Requirements:
- A recognised EYFS or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
- A passion for supporting children’s early education and development
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
