Full time

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a Primary School in Kingston to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for some long term cover.  The school is 3 form entry and has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted, the successful candidate will be working mainly in their reception class. As well as assisting the teacher and pupils, the candidate will need to have the confidence to cover classes in the event of teacher absence (e.g. meetings/appraisals); however they will mainly be working on a TA basis.

The school teaching and staffing team are very helpful and supportive and look forward to welcoming a new member to the team- this could be a permanent role for the right candidate.

In order to be considered for this role you must have:

  • Level 3 CACHE in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • The confidence to lead small groups and entire classes when needed
  • A pro-active attitude to your role with the motivation and skill to plan activities
  • The ability to adapt quickly and work across year groups as and when needed

The school are hoping to appoint as soon as possible, so there is a strong chance that this role will be for an immediate start on a trial basis, then ongoing moving forward.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
