EYFS Teacher – Part-Time – Tiverton

Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years Teacher looking for a part-time role in Tiverton? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a small local primary school to recruit a committed and enthusiastic teacher for their EYFS department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher seeking a supportive school environment, flexible part-time work, and the chance to make a real impact during the most important stages of a child’s learning journey.

About the Role

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons within the EYFS framework
  • Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and staff
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and senior leaders
  • Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching EYFS in UK primary schools (including placements)
  • Strong classroom management and a nurturing approach to behaviour
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality early years education
  • Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic attitude
