Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator (EYE) to join a welcoming nursery team within a vibrant school setting in Newham. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is committed to delivering high‑quality early years provision and supporting young children to reach their full potential.

The Role

As an Early Years Educator, you will:

• Act as a Key Person for a group of children, supporting their learning, development and well-being.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and carers.
• Provide engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences aligned with the EYFS, following children’s interests.
• Support assessment through observations, learning stories, and recording developmental milestones.
• Promote inclusive practice, meeting the needs of children with SEND, EAL and diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children thrive.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, Early Years Educators and external agencies.

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• A recognised Level 3 Childcare Qualification (e.g., NNEB, BTEC, CACHE, NVQ Level 3).
• Experience working with children under 5, ideally within a nursery or early years setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND, disabilities, or additional needs.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Good literacy, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to equality, safeguarding, and inclusive practice.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
