Early Years Educator – Primary School | South Bristol | Full-Time
Location: South Bristol
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Start Date: ASAP
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in South Bristol is seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator to join their team. This full-time role is offered through our recruitment agency and is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young learners in their early development.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will support both the class teacher and individual pupils in a Reception or Nursery class setting. Responsibilities include:

1:1 Support: Providing individual support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they can fully access learning opportunities.
-
General TA Support: Assisting with classroom activities, group work, and contributing to a positive and stimulating learning environment.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone who enjoys working closely with young children and is committed to inclusive education.
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children in Early Years, preferably in a school or nursery setting
-
Understanding of, or experience with, SEN support
-
A calm, flexible, and nurturing approach
-
A relevant Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification is desirable
-
A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
