Early Years 1-1 Teaching Assistant

Are you an Early Years specialist looking to bring your nurturing approach within a 1-2-1 role?
We are looking for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s school life, using your early years expertise to provide consistent and compassionate support.
About the Role:

Working 1:1 with a pupil who benefits from a tailored, supportive approach

Supporting both academic progress and emotional development
-
Implementing strategies from the SENCo and external professionals
-
Encouraging independence and confidence in a safe, structured environment

Close collaboration with the class teacher and wider support team
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
-
Has experience in Early Years (EYFS) or KS1, with a nurturing, child-centred approach
-
Understands child development and can adapt teaching to meet individual needs
-
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Is calm, positive, and resilient
-
Preferably has experience working with children with SEND or 1:1 support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
