Salary: £130–£165 per day (dependent on role and experience)

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic ECTs to work across a range of supportive primary and secondary schools in Gateshead and the surrounding areas. The Role

As an ECT, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons within your specialist subject or key stage
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive
• Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and classroom practice
• Build strong professional relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding
• Develop your teaching skills with ongoing support and guidance

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold, or be working towards, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have a degree in their specialist subject area
• Be passionate about education and committed to student success
• Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Be adaptable, proactive, and eager to develop professionally
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
