Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Gateshead, Sunderland, and Newcastle.
Whether you've recently completed your teacher training or are looking to build valuable classroom experience before securing a permanent role, we have a range of exciting opportunities available. We are looking for adaptable individuals who are happy to work across different year groups and enjoy the variety that flexible teaching can offer.
The Role
- Deliver engaging lessons across the primary age range, following school planning where appropriate.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt confidently to different school settings and classroom routines.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Take on a mixture of day-to-day supply, short-term placements, and long-term teaching opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds (or is due to obtain) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Is an Early Career Teacher looking to gain experience across a range of primary settings.
- Is flexible and confident teaching across different primary age groups.
- Has strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Is reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting pupils' learning and development.
- Is adaptable and enjoys working in a variety of school environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
