Rugby | ASAP Start | Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS) | Full-Time
Are you a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher looking for your next opportunity?
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school in Rugby who are looking for an enthusiastic DT Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
Applications are welcome from teachers across all DT specialisms, including Product Design, Textiles, Graphics, Food Technology and more.
The Role
- Teaching Design & Technology across the secondary age range
- Planning and delivering engaging, practical and creative lessons
- Supporting students to develop their technical and practical skills
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the wider DT department
- Full-time position starting ASAP
- Paid to Scale – MPS/UPS
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a DT Teacher who:
- Has relevant experience teaching Design & Technology within a UK secondary school
- Holds QTS or equivalent – ECTs are welcome to apply
- Has strong classroom management skills
- Can adapt lessons to suit needs of individuals within the class
- Has confidence and prior experience supporting students with special educational needs
- Is passionate about developing students' creativity and practical skills
- Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Is committed, reliable and enthusiastic

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
