The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative Drama lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to express themselves.
• Inspire students through practical and theoretical aspects of Drama.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular productions where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Has experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Has strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Is passionate about helping young people achieve their potential.
• Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
