Location: Stone (ST15)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (£33,000 - £48,000 per annum) depending on experience. ECTs are encouraged to apply.
About the Role
We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Stone (ST15) to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Drama to join their successful Performing Arts department from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Drama teacher to inspire students through creative and engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Experience teaching GCSE Drama is essential, and experience teaching A-Level Drama and Theatre would be advantageous but is not essential.
The Role
The successful candidate will:

Deliver high-quality Drama lessons that engage and challenge students.

Inspire students to develop performance, communication and creative thinking skills.

Plan and assess engaging lessons that support excellent student progress.

Contribute to school productions, performances and extracurricular activities.

Support the continued development of the Drama and Performing Arts curriculum.

Play an active role in the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
-
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

Has experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting.

Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for theatre and performance.

Is able to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.

Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Is committed to high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
