We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Drama Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Rochdale on a permanent contract.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Drama and performing arts, with the ability to engage and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will join a dedicated department that values creativity, collaboration and student achievement.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and creative Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess student work effectively
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support school productions, performances and extracurricular activities
- Monitor student progress and contribute to raising attainment
- Work collaboratively within a supportive Performing Arts department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting
- Be passionate about performing arts and student development
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all students
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ambitious ECTs looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
