Job Title: Drama Teacher (Temporary)
Location: Preston (PR3)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary (until end of academic year)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Preston (PR3) area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and foster a love for drama and the performing arts.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Plan, prepare and assess students’ work in line with the curriculum
  • Encourage creativity, confidence, and self-expression in students
  • Support extracurricular activities such as school productions or drama clubs (where possible)
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting
  • Be passionate about the performing arts and student development
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
  • Be reliable, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
