Drama Teacher – High School KS3 - KS5 (Maternity Contract)

Location: West Northumberland
Start Date: March 2026

Contract: Maternity Contract
Pay Rate: From £172.98 per day

Your Role

  • Deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if applicable)
  • Plan and implement a creative curriculum that builds confidence
  • Organize school productions and extracurricular drama activities
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • The appointee will also act as a form tutor and participate in a range of extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for drama and theatre
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
