Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a mixed secondary academy located in Havant and is seeking a Teacher of Drama to join the department from January 2027.

The role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join this forward-thinking and inclusive school community. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop their performance skills, confidence, and appreciation of the performing arts.
The Drama department is passionate about providing a rich and varied curriculum, and the successful teacher will have the opportunity to contribute to school productions, enrichment activities, and the wider cultural life of the school.
This position is offered on a 0.8 basis (4 days per week) maternity cover contract, commencing in January 2027 for up to one year. The successful candidate will be responsible for all teaching duties, including planning, preparation, assessment and marking. This opportunity would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs, with access to supportive mentoring, ongoing CPD opportunities, and a welcoming, collaborative Performing Arts team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
