Drama Teacher – Summer Term (Part-Time, 4 Days per Week)
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Start Date: Summer Term (Final Term of Academic Year)
A welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Sutton Coldfield is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Drama Teacher to join their team for the final term of the academic year starting 1st June.
The school is proudly graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is known for its supportive leadership, positive student behaviour, and genuinely friendly staff culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative department where creativity and student engagement are highly valued.
The Role:
- Teaching Drama across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for some English teaching depending on experience)
- Full planning and preparation responsibilities
- Creating engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire students
- Contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment
Working Pattern:
- 4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have prior experience teaching Drama and/or English at secondary level
- Be confident in planning and delivering high-quality lessons
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Be passionate about the performing arts and student development
- Be a team player who contributes positively to school life
- Hold Qualified teacher status

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
