The Role
As a Drama Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Inspire students to develop confidence, self-expression, and performance skills
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the curriculum
- Encourage participation in productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
- Work collaboratively within a successful Performing Arts team
The Ideal Drama Teacher
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has strong subject knowledge within Drama and Performing Arts
- Can deliver engaging and inspirational lessons
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
- Has high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
- Is passionate about creative education and student development
- Works effectively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
