Design Technology Teacher – Woking – ASAP Start
A thriving secondary school in Woking is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Design Technology Teacher to join its successful DT department from September. The role is suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a passion for inspiring creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving.

Location: Woking, Surrey
Start Date: ASAP/September
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Design Technology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Deliver engaging and practical lessons that develop creativity, design thinking, and technical skills
- Support students in areas such as Resistant Materials, Product Design, Graphics, or related DT specialisms
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
- Promote high standards of achievement and behaviour throughout the school
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Design Technology or a related subject
- Experience teaching DT at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to student progress and wellbeing
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative department team
