Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Start Date: June 2026
Contract: Flexible (Short-term and long-term fixtures available)
Salary: £130-£251 a day (paid to scale from day 1)

The Role
- Teaching high-quality Design & Technology lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5
- Inspiring students through creative, hands-on approaches to learning
- Creating a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes progress and engagement
- Supporting students to develop problem-solving skills, resilience, and independence
We’re looking for educators who:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Have experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary setting
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
- Are committed to safeguarding and maintaining high behavioural standards
- Bring energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to their teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
