A vibrant and supportive secondary school in Weymouth is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join the team after the Easter break. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic educator who enjoys bringing creativity and practical learning to life.

The Role

The appointed teacher will:

Teach Design & Technology to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
Deliver engaging lessons within areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Engineering — tailored to your strengths
Encourage inventive thinking while maintaining strong academic expectations
Contribute to shaping the curriculum within a well‑established department
Play an active role in wider school life and enrichment activities

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
