Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a highly regarded, oversubscribed all-through school (ages 4–16) in Southampton to recruit a passionate and skilled Design Technology Teacher. The Role

As a Design Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality DT lessons across Key Stages (ideally KS3–KS4)
  • Inspire students to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise
  • Contribute to a well-planned and ambitious curriculum
  • Support students of all abilities, including those with additional needs
  • Play an active role in the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking someone who:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Design Technology (NQTs/ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for DT
  • Can create a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Is committed to high standards of teaching and student achievement
  • Works collaboratively as part of a team
