Location: East Bristol
Salary: L8–L12 (£61,534–£67,898)
Start: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, permanent (32.5 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Headteacher to work within a specialist setting with SENDcO and Inclusion responsibilities. This is a key leadership role supporting pupils with complex and SEMH needs, ensuring high-quality, personalised education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SEND provision, including EHCPs and personalised learning
• Support whole-school strategy, behaviour, and inclusion
• Coach and develop staff to deliver high-quality teaching
• Work closely with families, external agencies, and leadership team
• Ensure strong safeguarding and pupil wellbeing practices

Requirements:

• QTS and senior leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of SEND and inclusion practices
• Experience in specialist or SEMH settings
• Passionate, resilient, and student-focused
