Are you a reliable and adaptable Teaching Assistant looking for flexible day-to-day work supporting pupils across schools in South West London?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a variety of primary and secondary schools who regularly require Teaching Assistants for short-notice and pre-booked daily cover, supporting pupils and teaching staff in the classroom.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy variety, flexibility, and working in different school environments.
About the Role

Supporting pupils in the classroom on a day-to-day basis
-
Working alongside teachers to help deliver lessons
-
Providing 1:1 or small-group support where required
-
Assisting with behaviour management and classroom routines
-
Opportunities across Wimbledon, Merton, Kingston, Sutton, Richmond, and surrounding areas

Day-to-day and short-term bookings available
-
Ideal for candidates open to early-morning calls for same-day work

Full-time and part-time flexibility
What We’re Looking For
✔️ Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)
✔️ A calm, supportive, and proactive approach
✔️ Flexibility and reliability, including availability for last-minute bookings
✔️ Ability to adapt quickly to new school settings
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔️ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
