Here at Teaching Personnel we are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Dance Teacher to join a vibrant partner secondary school in the Handsworth area.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves to bring energy and innovation into the classroom, helping students to express themselves through movement, develop confidence and achieve success both practically and academically.
Role Responsibilites:

Deliver engaging, high-quality dance lessons across KS3 and KS4 following the curriculum while adding your creative flair

Inspire students through a range of dance styles including contemporary, street, jazz and cultural dance forms

Prepare students for practical assessments, performances and examinations ensuring they reach their full potential

Lead and support school productions, dance showcases and extra-curricular clubs bringing the performing arts to life

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and express themselves
Role Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in teaching dance

Strong knowledge of GCSE/BTEC Performing Arts (Dance) specifications

A passion for dance education and student development with the ability to engage and motivate

Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtian one.

Creativity, energy and a commitment to making learning exciting and meaningful

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
