Design & Technology Teacher – Worcester 

Location: Worcester
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (£31,650 - £49,084) depending on experience

I am currently working with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Worcester that is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) seeking to develop their career within a supportive and well-resourced school environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare and assess high-quality learning opportunities.
  • Support students in developing practical, creative and problem-solving skills.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the department and school community.
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (or is due to achieve QTS).
  • Has strong subject knowledge within Design & Technology.
  • Is committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all students.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
  • Has a positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
