Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dedicated and adaptable Cover Teachers to work in a variety of primary and secondary schools across Kent, including Maidstone, Ashford, Canterbury, Medway, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Dover, Thanet, and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, short-term assignments, or long-term placements, we have opportunities to suit your availability and preferences.
The Role
As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning while maintaining high standards within the classroom.
We are looking for professionals who can quickly adapt to different school environments and confidently teach across a range of subjects and year groups.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Previous teaching experience within UK schools
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A flexible and professional approach to work
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Recent and relevant educational references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
