The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes of students aged 11–16 in the absence of the class teacher
- Deliver pre‑prepared lesson plans to ensure learning continues smoothly
- Support students in staying focused and engaged
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and calmly
- Provide additional help to students with SEND when required
This role builds essential skills for anyone considering teacher training or future leadership responsibilities.
