One of our partner schools in the Levenshulme area of Manchester are currently looking for a newly qualified Music teacher, with prior knowledge of the Edexcel syllabus being highly desired. This would be a great chance for a newly qualified teacher wanting to gain valuable experience being in a full-time role from September 2023. Alongside the opportunity of achieving a permanent position after the first initial trial through ourselves. After the first 1- 2 terms the school will then potentially be offered a contract internally. This gives both the school and applicant a chance to get to know the school alongside the school offering a contract based on the performance from the first term.

Key aspects of this Music teaching position:

  • Full time Music teacher required for the duration of the academic year 2023/2024.
  • Maternity cover at this partner school in the heart of Manchester.
  • Option to progress onto a school based contract for the successful Music teacher.
  • Pay will be dependent upon pay scale ranging between MPS1-MPS6 (new pay scales to be adhered to).

This mixed secondary school is at the heart of the local community, being situated in pleasant residential surroundings. The school prides itself on having a positive ethos and values top class education for all students. They are therefore looking for a Music teacher who is able to teach high quality lessons. Being a highly regarded secondary school, students’ behaviour is considered very positive with students being engaged with school life.

The school is located in the heart of the Manchester area, making it very easy to commute to Music teachers travelling by public transport or car. The school is close to the local train station as well as the local metrolink tram network which services the whole of Greater Manchester. For those Music specialists travelling by car, the school is close to the M60 motorway networks and is set in very pleasant surroundings with a large on site secure car park.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
