Job description

Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (Tenterden)

Location: Tenterden, Kent
Pay: £110 – £120 per day

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Cover Supervisors to work within supportive secondary schools in Tenterden.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for supervising classes across multiple subjects

  • Ensure continuity of learning by following lesson plans provided

  • Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive engagement

  • Support school routines, expectations, and values

  • Report any behavioural or safeguarding concerns appropriately

  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting or supervising secondary-aged students

  • Confident and assertive classroom management style

  • Ability to adapt to different school environments

  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
