Job description

A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Poole is seeking a reliable and proactive Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and thrives in a fast-paced school environment. The Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, maintaining a positive learning atmosphere, and ensuring pupils remain focused and on task during teacher absences across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The school offers a supportive leadership team, clear behaviour policies, and a friendly staff culture, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in education. The successful candidate will:

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

No formal teaching qualification is required; however, strong communication skills and a confident presence in the classroom are essential.
