Job description

Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (New Romney)

Location: New Romney, Kent
Pay: £110 – £120 per day

Secondary schools in New Romney are seeking motivated Cover Supervisors to support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise pupils during lessons in the absence of teachers

  • Ensure students understand tasks and remain focused

  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policy

  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment

  • Support students of mixed abilities and learning needs

  • Communicate effectively with school staff

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Flexible availability and reliable work ethic

  • Ability to maintain authority and professionalism

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
