PSHE/Citizenship Cover Supervisor - SEMH Secondary School, Leyland

An SEMH secondary school in Leyland is seeking a dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
About the Role:
- Position: PSHE/Citizenship Cover Supervisor
- Location: Leyland
- Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
- Contract: Full-time, until the end of the academic year (July 2024)
- Hours: Term-time only
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-set PSHE and Citizenship lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Support and engage SEMH secondary-aged students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and uphold school policies.
- Encourage the personal and social development of students.

- Experience working with young people in an educational or support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confidence to lead and manage a classroom.
- A passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
