PSHE/Citizenship Cover Supervisor - SEMH Secondary School, Leyland

An SEMH secondary school in Leyland is seeking a dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

About the Role:

• Position: PSHE/Citizenship Cover Supervisor
• Location: Leyland
• Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
• Contract: Full-time, until the end of the academic year (July 2024)
• Hours: Term-time only

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set PSHE and Citizenship lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Support and engage SEMH secondary-aged students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and uphold school policies.
• Encourage the personal and social development of students.

• Experience working with young people in an educational or support role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confidence to lead and manage a classroom.
• A passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.
