Job description

Cover Supervisor- Flexible Hours- B95- ASAP Start

We are seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work on a flexible basis at a well-regarded secondary school in the B95 area of Henley-in-Arden. This role is ideal for individuals looking for adaptable work within education.

 

The Role:

  • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher

  • Deliver pre-set work and ensure pupils remain on task

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson

  • Support a positive and productive learning environment

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based experience desirable)

  • Previous experience working as a cover supervisor or similar position is ideal
  • Is confident managing classroom behaviour

  • Is flexible, adaptable, and reliable

  • Has strong communication and organisational skills

  • Graduates, aspiring teachers, and experienced cover supervisors are encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
