Start Date: Immediate / January
Contract: Term-Time Only

Are you ready to take the next step in your education career? We’re looking for a Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic SEN/PRU Primary School in Bournemouth.

Why This Role Matters

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent. You’ll supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and ensure pupils remain engaged and on task. Working with pupils aged 4–11 years old with a range of needs including ADHD, ASD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges. You will help create a safe, structured, and positive learning atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in SEN or PRU settings
  • Strong understanding of SEMH and positive behaviour strategies
  • English & Maths GCSE A*-C or equivalent
  • Ability to manage classrooms and deliver pre-set work effectively
  • Resilient, patient, and passionate about inclusive education
  • Skilled in de-escalating challenging situations calmly and safely

    • Wed & Thu: 08:30 – 15:15
    • Fri: 08:30 – 15:00

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
