Job description

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to provide high-quality tuition in English, Maths, and/or Science to students across Nottinghamshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting learners at different stages of their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of each student

  • Support academic progress by developing subject knowledge, confidence, and study skills

  • Adapt teaching methods to suit a variety of learning styles and abilities

  • Provide regular, constructive feedback on student progress

Requirements:

  • Previous experience teaching or tutoring in English, Maths, or Science

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, Cert Ed) is preferred

  • Strong planning, communication, and organisational skills

  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
