Contract: Full-Time
Salary: From £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and develop their knowledge of computing, programming, and digital technologies across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5.
The Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teach key topics including programming, algorithms, cybersecurity, networks, and data representation.
- Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science examinations.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement.
- Support students in developing practical coding and problem-solving skills.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to motivate and inspire young people
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
