Computer Science Teacher

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a passionate and motivated Computer Science Teacher to join our team in the Amesbury area, and a potential an opportunity at a supportive mainstream secondary school in Amesbury from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators looking to develop their career within a welcoming and forward-thinking school environment.

The Role:

  • Full-time Computer Science Teacher position within a mainstream secondary school
  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Inspire students in areas such as programming, digital literacy, and computing
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Have strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and ICT
  • Be confident managing classrooms and building positive relationships with students
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, adaptability, and a passion for education
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
