Job description

DBS School Cleaner (20 Hours Per Week)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team. This is a part-time role working 20 hours per week during after-school hours, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices, and communal areas
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  • Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the school
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
  • Securing areas of the school after cleaning where required

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role

Hours

  • Part-time: 20 hours per week
  • After-school/evening hours
  • Working pattern to be agreed
