KS1 Primary Teacher

Inspire Young Minds in Key Stage 1

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redditch to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The Role

As the KS1 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare and assess learning that meets the needs of all pupils.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Use effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and raise attainment.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Be an experienced KS1 Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management.
  • Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Be enthusiastic, adaptable and passionate about supporting young learners.
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.

ECTs are encouraged to apply. Applicants must hold, or be on track to achieve, UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
